Applications of WUDAPT Products
Chinese University of Hong Kong, 5 to 6 December 2016
Organized by The Chinese University of Hong Kong (CUHK), University College Dublin, the University of North Carolina and the International Institute for Applied Systems Analysis, there will be a two-day workshop on the applications of WUDAPT.
The invited speakers will show how the WUDAPT products can be implemented in climate modeling simulations and benefit climate-sensitive urban design and planning.
The workshop goal is to use WUDAPT methods to provide a map of the urban landscapes of each city and assess their climate effects. This will serve as a useful reference and basis to local government and researchers for future urban development.
Papers and posters are invited on WUDAPT applications, results, validation methods, urban morphology detection and the global carbon project. The deadline for submissions is 20 October 2016.
The program for the workshop can be found here while more general information can be found on the IAUC website. Online registration can be found here.
